I called the surgeon's office earlier this week to cancel Connor's "surgery" appointment that we made to take his G-tube out because of the pneumonia diagnosis. After a few doses of his antibiotic he started to do amazingly well. He was back to eating a ton and had no GI problems with the antibiotic. I was starting to kick myself that I postponed the surgery appointment. As fate would have it, yesterday I got a reminder phone call from the surgeon's office for his appointment. The person that I talked to on the phone earlier in the week did not cancel the appointment, so we decided to keep the appointment and get his G-tube out. Connor said that he was ready for it to be gone.
